Hi, we’re Kelsi and Andrew, the husband-and-wife team behind Shnack. What started as a personal need has grown into our small, family-run business, proudly based right here in New Zealand.
How It All Started
I (Kelsi) began my journey in the health and wellness space by building a community of over 500,000 people on Instagram through my page @healthykelsii. Over the years, I’ve shared my passion for living well and making better choices and that naturally led us to create our first brand, Second Nature, a protein powder business.
Shnack was born from the same vision: to make healthy living easy, convenient, and genuinely delicious.
Why We Created Shnack
Being super active, and always on the go, we felt frustrated by the lack of healthy, low-sugar, dairy-free options on the market. Most products were either loaded with unnecessary additives, lacked quality ingredients, or just didn’t taste good.
As former competitive swimmers, we know the importance of fuelling your body right - and we kept thinking how much we would have loved something like Shnack back when we were training. Even now, as busy, active people, we wanted a grab-and-go option that could deliver:
